I would like to inform anybody visiting the site the registration will be down for a couple days.
This will give me time to add more security into the site. The registration system, PM system and the forum posting system.
I will not tolerate this bad bot behavior. The site has to be targeted, I'm guessing. The do have allot of IPs though, I think IP blocking is not going to work. I will work on something though, lets see what I can come up with.
From what I can see the bot post a minute apart. So it is hitting the site hard, once the posting time limit restriction is over it post again.
Will look at the logs though to figure out the bot masters approach.
People that advertise through bots are scum of the earth.
Members please be on the lookout for these bots, They may try to spoof their message to make it look like they are staff here at SI Community. Any messages from forum staff will be through me, I don't even show up as administrator. Titles mean nothing here, but if you have gotten a suspicious message please report them and I will delete the user asap.
